Thanks for sharing Dave. And I agree with you about the title of the poem. The fact tou thought it was Fred and not Gene, and then left it in just makes it better ☺️

I absolutely love this poem Dave, I’ll put one of mine up & tag you as we share similar elation at overcoming/dealing with health issues and I’m here for you the way PPP are always there for me and gave me positives and community and a voice during my shielding in the pandemic xx do you know the James song “just like Fred Astaire”? We played it at our wedding ceremony and it is the musical version of the Astaire-related elation you felt - I think you’ll like it 💕 you’ve put a spring in my step with this and I hope to see you at a future YWC and we can do our version of a Fred & Ginger* routine (a smile and a gentle hi five should do it!) *I used to have ginger hair, now I’m calling it “blonde highlights” (definitely not grey!!)

It's a date. We will hobble around a venue to the music in our own minds soon.

I do love these random jumps my brain (Or anyone's) make and rather than correcting them I see what happens when I embrace them. I do think the randomness and serendipity of being human is what will always separate our creativity from things like AI. In fact, I maintain to be creative we have to embrace randomness.

Glad you liked it though... thanks.
